Donna, Practice Manager, started her career in medicine at Boulder Valley Foot and Ankle Clinic on
an externship for the Medical Assistant Program at Front Range Community College. Donna is part
of the foundation of the office and has now been with us for over 14 years. Her career began rapidly,
initially filing many roles including receptionist, billing, surgical scheduling and medical assistant. Donna
soon discovered she was keen to manage the operations of a practice, a challenge that remains her
passion today. Donna is currently pursuing ongoing education, working toward her bachelor degree
in accounting. Outside the office, she keeps busy with hiking, cycling, tae bo and yoga. Donna lives in
Longmont with her husband, and four cats.
Maria, Receptionist, is a Colorado native who joined Boulder Valley Foot & Ankle clinic in 2010. Maria
was born in Boulder and raised in Lafayette, Colorado. She received her degree in Medical Insurance
Billing and Coding from Parks College in Thornton, Colorado in 2005. Maria enjoys interacting with and
effectively communicating between patients, medical staff and the clinic physicians. In her free time,
Maria enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughter, son, husband and dog Chico.
Katrina, Medical Assistant, is a native of eastern Russia who joined Boulder Valley Foot and Ankle Clinic
in 2009. Katrina holds a bachelor’s degree in Teaching English and German and a Masters degree in
Art from the Pedagogical University in Russia. She began her medical career as a phlebotomist, then
furthered her medical training earning her CNA certificate which she put to use working on the surgical
floor at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. With an increasing love for medicine, Katrina enrolled at
Pima Medical Institute where she obtained her Medical Assisting Certificate. Recently Katrina, attended
cosmetology school so that she could offer sterile technique nail care and pedicures at Boulder Valley
Foot and Ankle Clinic. Katrina loves Colorado and spends her free time camping, swimming, surfing,
kayaking and hiking with her dog Monty.
Kathi, Medical Assistant, graduated from Heritage College in 2007 and shortly after joined Boulder
Valley Foot & Ankle Clinic. Prior to her medical career, she was a professional welder creating custom
home features. In addition to being our medical technician, Kathi is also an x-ray medical technician
and certified massage therapist. Kathi enjoys combining her diverse skill set to provide care for our
patients and assistance to our physicians. Alongside her role as our medical assistant, Kathi offers sterile
technique nail care and foot massages at our office. Outside of the office, Kathi enjoys hiking, cycling
and spending time with her children. |
